Having served many clients over the years, and maintaining an active membership in the Brownsville South Padre Island Board of Realtors, Ernest has served two terms as President, as well as Director and Chair of the various committees.

His wife, Beatriz De Leon is a retired BISD administrator, having taught for many years.

Edna De Leon is an associate broker at De Leon Real Estate. Edna first obtained her real estate salesperson license in 2004 and sought her Brokers license in 2007. She has served actively on the Brownsville South Padre Island Board of Realtors as Orientation Chair and Recording Secretary.
